Small Business Bookkeeping Services

Clear books. Useful numbers. One less thing on your list.

At Full Circle Ledger, I provide monthly bookkeeping, catch-up and cleanup bookkeeping, and QuickBooks Online setup for small businesses in Huntersville, NC, Charlotte, and Lake Norman, with virtual support when the fit is right.

If your business has outgrown DIY bookkeeping—or your books keep sliding to the bottom of the list—I help you get organized, understand your numbers, and keep your books ready for your tax professional.

You don’t need to become the spreadsheet geek in your business. I actually love doing this stuff.

Start With Where Your Books Are Now.

My work is a strong fit for owner-led service businesses, including consultants, creatives, and independent professionals. I especially welcome women-owned businesses, and I’m happy to talk with any owner whose needs fit the services below.

Monthly Bookkeeping

Keep your books current without making them your second job.

I review and categorize transactions, reconcile bank and credit card accounts, and close out the month with financial reports. I flag bookkeeping questions and help you understand what the numbers are telling you.

Who it’s for: Business owners who want consistent bookkeeping support and are ready to hand off the recurring work.

What changes: Current records, a clearer view of business performance, and more time to run the business.

Catch-Up & Cleanup Bookkeeping

Give overdue or unreliable books a clear path forward.

Catch-up brings missing months up to date. Cleanup addresses errors in records that already exist. I review your QuickBooks Online file, explain what needs attention, and agree on the scope before reconciling accounts and correcting the identified issues.

Who it’s for: Owners whose books are behind, disorganized, or carrying errors from earlier bookkeeping.

What changes: A reconciled starting point you can use, with a clear path into ongoing monthly support.

QuickBooks Online Setup

Start with a bookkeeping system that fits your business.

For brand-new businesses with no bookkeeping history, I set up the chart of accounts, bank and credit card connections, payment processor connections, and opening balances so QuickBooks Online is ready for ongoing bookkeeping.

Who it’s for: New business owners setting up QuickBooks Online for the first time.

What changes: An organized foundation and a clearer process for keeping records from the start.

Already have a QuickBooks file that needs fixing? That’s cleanup. And if you’re not sure what’s going on in there, I can help you figure out the starting point.

How It Works

1. Talk It Through

Book a free consultation. I’ll ask about your business, your software, where your books stand, and what you want help with. You don’t need to diagnose the problem first.

2. Get Books in Shape

After reviewing what’s needed, I’ll explain the scope, pricing, and next steps. Once agreed, I’ll gather access and records, handle the setup or cleanup involved, and establish a practical workflow.

3. Keep Them Current

If ongoing support is part of your plan, I’ll handle the monthly bookkeeping and reports. You’ll provide supporting records and timely answers when something needs clarification. With your permission, I can also coordinate with your tax professional.

Get a Starting Point for Bookkeeping Costs

Use the Pricing Estimator to get an initial idea of what your bookkeeping may cost. Your accounts, transaction volume, and service needs help shape the estimate.

I’ll confirm the actual scope and price after reviewing your books and workflow. Catch-up and cleanup work is scoped individually, so the estimate is a starting point rather than a final quote.

Bookkeeping Questions, Answered

What is included in monthly bookkeeping?

Monthly bookkeeping covers transaction categorization, account reconciliation, month-end review, and financial reporting within the agreed scope. I also flag questions and explain the reports so you can use the information. Additional work is agreed on before it becomes part of your service.

In many cases, yes. I start with a records review to understand the missing periods, account activity, and existing errors. Then I confirm whether the project is a fit and explain the scope, price, and expected timeline before work begins.

QuickBooks Online helps record and organize activity, but it still needs accurate setup, review, and reconciliation. If you’re spending too much time on those tasks or don’t trust the reports, bookkeeping support can help you get useful information from the software.

The cost depends on your account count, transaction volume, complexity, and the work your books need. Use the Pricing Estimator for a starting point. I confirm pricing after a scope review, and catch-up or cleanup projects are quoted for the work involved.

Yes. With your authorization, I can share reconciled records and reports and answer bookkeeping questions. My role is to keep your books ready for your tax professional; income tax preparation and tax advice stay with your tax professional.

I’m based in Huntersville, North Carolina, and also serve small businesses in Charlotte and around Lake Norman. Virtual bookkeeping support is available when the business and service needs are a good fit. Book a Free Consultation so we can talk about it.
